David T. Hunt passed away on Saturday, Aug. 26. He was 70.

He was the beloved husband of Marina (Scioli) Hunt and the son of the late David J. and Edyth A. (Woitscheck) Hunt.

A resident of Hewitt for 31 years, he had formerly lived in Berkeley, Calif. and in Teaneck, N.J.

David was a mason for Barbaris Builders in Hewitt, a member of the West Milford American Legion and served a tour of duty from June of 1968 to September of 1969 in the Vietnam War in the Marines.

In addition to his wife, also surviving are brothers Roger Hunt of Missouri, Robert Hunt of Bergenfield, N.J., Thomas Hunt of Clifton Park, N.Y., sisters Mary Hunt of Englewood, N.J., and Anne Doherty of Teaneck, N.J.

He was predeceased by a brother, Peter Hunt.
