West Milford has made the dean's list at Wentworth Institute of Technology for the spring 2017 term.

Founded in 1904, Wentworth Institute of Technology is a nationally ranked institution offering career-focused education through 17 bachelor's degree programs in areas such as applied mathematics, architecture, business management, computer science, computer networking, construction management, design, and engineering.

Kathleen Erin Zachok, a student from West Milford, graduated during the May 2017 term with a Bachelor of Arts in English.

The graduating class included undergraduate and graduate students from the main campus in Hackettstown and the Centenary College School of Professional

Studies learning centers in Parsippany and Edison. Degrees were awarded to391 graduates.

Ryan A. Donohue of West Milford has been selected for inclusion on St. Lawrence University's Dean's List for academic achievement during the Spring 2017 semester.

Donohue is a member of the Class of 2020. Donohue attended Burke Mountain Academy.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4 scale for the semester.

Ryan Hoffman just finished his first year at Boston University in their electrical engineering program. He is also a cadet with their Army ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) program. He made the Deans list for the fall and spring semesters and received the following awards from ROTC:

Scholarship from the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association which is awarded to a STEM major The Military Order of the World Wars which is awarded to one cadet in each grade level for scholarship, leadership and patriotic zeal 3-Top Cadet, which is chosen by the Cadre and awarded to one cadet at each grade level based on scholarship, leadership and fitness.

Danielle Burns of West Milford, N.J., is one of more than 150 Lebanon Valley College student-athletes named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's (MAC) Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.

Burns, a gradute of West Milford Township High School, is a member of the women's swimming team, and is pursuing a bachelor of science in health science at The Valley.

The academic honor roll is comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity level sport and registered a term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4 0 scale) or higher.

Several local students were among the more than 900 undergraduates who were named to Susquehanna University's dean's list for the spring 2017 semester. The dean's list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4 for the semester. To qualify, students must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.

Michael Otero, of West Milford, is an undeclared major in the Class of 2019. A 2015 graduate of West Milford High School, he is the son of John and Sandy Otero.

Tess Korinko, of West Milford, is a business administration major in the Class of 2020. A 2016 graduate of West Milford High School, she is the daughter of John Korinko and Paula Korinko.

Jess Rolando, a Exercise Science major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean's List with Distinction for the Spring 2017 semester. Jess is a 2013 graduate of West Milford Township High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rolando (Anna) from Hewitt, NJ..

Students eligible for the Dean's List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59; for the Dean's List with Distinction a GPA of 3.60 to 3.84 and for the Dean's List with High Distinction a GPA of 3.85 to 4 Garvin Jones of West Milford was awarded a Master of Business Administration degree in business administration.

Salve Regina President Jane Gerety conferred 679 degrees in total, including 450 bachelor's degrees, 220 master's degrees and 12 doctoral degrees.

Brittany Veninger, of Hewitt, has graduated from the University of Findlay. Veninger received the following: Master of Business Administration.

Veninger was invited to walk in the University's commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 6. More than 1,100 graduates earned doctoral, master's, bachelor's or associate degrees for the academic year 2016 - 2017.

Jess Rolando is one of 606 seniors to earn their degree from Grove City College on May 20, 2017. Rolando earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and is from Hewitt.

The College of Saint Rose congratulates Kylie Powers of Hewitt for being named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2017 semester.

Powers is one of 704 students to achieve this mark of academic excellence. To make the Dean's List, Powers had to complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and achieve a semester grade-point average of at least 3.5 with no grades of D, F, Incomplete or Pass/Fail.

Collin Timony has been named to the Siena College Dean's List for the Spring 2017 semester. Timony is from West Milford.

Hewitt resident John Michael Gomez earned a spot on the University of Dayton spring 2017 dean's list, which honors undergraduate students achieving a minimum 3.5 GPA for the semester.

Lasell College recently named Katelyn Bellina of West Milford, to the Lasell College Dean's List for the Spring 2017 semester. Bellina, whose major is Event Management, is a member of the class of 2019.

Tess Korinko, of West Milford, is one of more than 30 students recently inducted into the Susquehanna University chapter of Alpha Phi Omega (APO), a co-educational service fraternity. APO brings university students together for leadership, friendship and service opportunities to the campus, the fraternity, the community and the nation. APO devotes their time to volunteering for many different service projects throughout the year such as the Ronald McDonald House dinner, Grayson View bingo, Mostly Mutts, Peace Festival, Relay for Life, Elijah's Bowl and the Red Cross Blood Drive. Members of the organization complete a minimum of 50 hours of service each year. Korinko is a business administration major in the Class of 2020. A 2016 graduate of West Milford High School, she is the daughter of John Korinko and Paula Korinko.

Dr. Benjamin Rusiloski, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty at Delaware Valley University, announced that Brianne Schroeder of Hewitt, NJ, graduated (Bachelor of Science, Biology) from Delaware Valley University in May 2017.

The following New Jersey residents were recently honored by Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, N.Y. for making the Spring 2017 Dean’s List.

Nearly 450 Mount students earned a place on the list this semester. Among them was Jessica Free, of Hewitt.

The Dean’s List distinction is awarded each semester to students who have carried at least 12 graded credits with a minimum semester GPA of 3.5.

William Link, of Hewitt, graduated from Ithaca College's School of Communications with a degree in Television-Radio. The degree was awarded in May 2017.
