Wallisch Homestead at 65 Lincoln Ave. in West Milford offers a plethora of activities.

Yoga with Kat is ongoing — as long as the weather stays nice — Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m.; sessions are $10 per person.

Aug. 18 and 25 will be “craft Saturdays” from 10 a.m. to noon. Bring the kids. The fee of $4 per child includes materials.

Also on Aug. 25, a women’s self-defense seminar from 2 to 4 p.m. will cover abusive relationships, victim facilitation and some physical techniques to use in the event of an assault. The fee is $20.

Friends of the Library will hold a book sale from Sept. 13 to 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Have Clothes Will Travel will bring its bus full of new clothing and beauty products to the grounds from 1 to 4 p.m. on those days, and other vendors will sell their wares from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

North Jersey Astronomy Group will set up its telescopes for the general public to view Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and other deep-space objects Oct. 6 from 7 to 10:30 p.m.

This is a free event, but donations will be accepted. All proceeds from any event go to future restoration projects at the Homestead.
